This Golf Mk6 GTI visited our Volkswagen workshop in Dubai for a major service with additional maintenance and repair work. The photographed products show the engine oil, DSG fluid, coolant and cleaner used on this job. The engine oil cooler was also replaced, the reusable intake filter was cleaned, and the A/C system was recovered and refilled.

The fluids and parts, explained.
LIQUI MOLY Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 — engine oil
The purple bottles in the photographs are LIQUI MOLY Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40. Fresh engine oil lubricates the engine and helps carry heat and contaminants through the lubrication system. We replaced the engine oil and filter on this GTI. The manufacturer lists VW 502 00/505 00 among this product’s approvals; the correct requirement must still be checked for the specific engine.

LIQUI MOLY Engine Flush Plus — pre-oil-change cleaner
The metal can is Engine Flush Plus, an engine cleaning additive used as part of this visit’s oil-change work. Its role is cleaning within the oil circuit before the used oil is drained. This is an additional service step selected for this job, not a reason to assume that every engine needs a flush.
ROWE HIGHTEC ATF DCG II — DSG fluid
The silver ROWE bottles are DCG II dual-clutch transmission fluid. ROWE describes it as a fluid developed for double-clutch transmissions with oil-bath clutches. We serviced the DSG fluid and filter on this GTI. Transmission fluid performs a different job from engine oil; the fitted gearbox determines the required specification and service procedure.
Volkswagen G12evo — ready-mixed coolant
The white bottles with purple caps are Volkswagen Group G12evo coolant ready mix, labelled G 12E 050 A2. Coolant carries heat through the cooling system and provides protection for its internal components. Coolant replacement formed part of this visit. Coolant type and mixing requirements should always be checked for the vehicle and product supplied.
Engine oil cooler and filters
The silver heat exchanger on the trolley is the engine oil cooler replaced during this job. It transfers heat between the engine-oil and coolant circuits. This was an engine oil-cooler replacement. The separate DSG service covered its fluid and filter. The photographs also show packaged service parts and a filter housing alongside the fluids.
Reusable intake-filter cleaning.
This GTI has an aftermarket intake with a reusable filter. We cleaned the fitted intake filter during the service. A reusable element should be maintained using a method appropriate to its construction; cleaning and replacement are different jobs.
A/C recovery and refill.
The air-conditioning work included recovering the existing refrigerant and refilling the system. Refrigerant is a separate circuit from the engine coolant. The required refrigerant type and charge must be checked against the individual vehicle’s specification; no universal fill quantity applies to every GTI.

The supplied photographs record the vehicle, engine bay, service products and work on the lift. They document this visit without presenting unrecorded diagnostic readings or before-and-after performance claims.
